Terms and Conditions 

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time so it is important for users to check any terms and conditions each time they place an order and ensure that they accept the current terms and conditions.

 

Customer Orders 

By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions. A Binding contract will only have been entered into once we have sent confirmation of receipt of your order in writing. We reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not comply with the conditions such as the refunding of payments.

 

Pricing 

Prices featured are in £ sterling and is exclusive of delivery charge. We reserve the right to amend prices and cost of postage from time to time.

All prices on this website are subject to change without notice.

We make every effort to provide the items with a correct AMS price after being subject to Spanish Tax, Vat and Shipping costs. 

 

Availability 

All products on the A.M.S. Paints And Accessories website are featured subject to availability.

If any product ordered is out of stock you will be notified and offered an alternative product or offer you the option to cancel your order. Any monies paid will be refunded to you.

 

Product Details 

All photographs are for illustration purposes only. Please read carefully the product description.

Out of Stock will state 0.  Leaving post open for future stock.

Other out of stock items - example - models - are removed from website completely.

We are human and errors can be made in updating website - please read Availability.

 

Payment 

Payment is made via Paypal. Customer can also phone and pay via Credit Card. Should a customer wish to pay via BACS - AMS would be willing to email AMS Trade Account Details.

 

Confirmation of Orders 

Should you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND CONFIRM BY EMAIL. We do not accept cancellations of any order by phone. Your order once cancelled any payments made will be refunded to you.

Refund of payments for cancelled orders will be made to the account originally charged.

 

Claims 

Upon receipt of your order please check the contents carefully as shortages/discrepances/damages must be notified within 24 hours of receipt.

 

Delivery 

All orders are sent by courier

We deliver throughout the UK. We endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receipt. Orders will only be dispatched once payment has been received. Orders will be sent via Courier and are usually received within 2-5 days. Please be advised that we request all customers to fill the address details at the time of placing an order. We will not be held accountable if the customer has placed order with wrong address - then states they have not received items ordered. If you haven't received your order within 5 days of receiving confirmation of dispatch please contact us by email. We will trace your order and try and ensure that you receive it as quickly as possible. We endeavour to achieve quick delivery of items but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

 

Orders from Abroad

All orders are sent by courier

All customers who purchase from outside United Kingdom - this will include British Dependencies  that have a seperate relationship out-with the United Kingdom.  Islands  like Guernsey, Jersey, Sark and Alderney please be advised we contact you for full postage via email. If postage not paid your order is deemed cancelled and items are returned for resale on website. All monies for the goods is returned to you via account originally used.

 

Please remember : All parcels going abroad are subject to customs.

 

Returns Policy 

In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the returned products.

The returned goods must be unopened and unused and in the same condition as when dispatched by A.M.S. Paints And Accessories.

If you wish to return goods under these circumstances you must do the following :-

 

Email us to state which items you wish to return.

When returning goods we recommend that you obtain proof of postage. Customers are liable for the costs involved in returning unwanted goods to us.

If goods received are damaged please contact us immediately. You can return damaged items for a full refund or replacement. [We reserve the right to check serial numbers from original order placed]

 

Do not use express delivery services to return items to us as we will be unable to refund you the full cost paid. Postage refund will not exceed the amount originally paid.

 

If you are returning items to us and they are lost by the service you used, we do not accept any responsibility.

It is your responsibility to ensure goods are returned to us in the condition in which they were received.

 

Privacy 

We take the protection of your privacy and confidentiality seriously. We do not collect, store, transfer or use third parties. We undertake to preserve the confidentiality of any personal information you provide to us.

 

Charges

UK STANDARD SHIPPING BY COURIER

 

Please supply your mobile number when ordering it ensures updates of your parcel delivery to you.

 

The Highlands and non-mainland UK destinations attract a £6 surcharge with most delivery couriers.

Northern Ireland postcodes attract this surcharge too.

Basically it's required for a ferry crossing.

 

We have found that in using Hermes to these destinations - not all are hit with the surcharge.

We are willing to measure and weigh a parcel for these destinations if emailed order first.

If all is well with postage cost you can proceed to the website. Otherwise no harm done.

We do not ship to BFPO or PO BOX addresses but are hoping to be able to offer this service in the future.

 

If items are lost or damaged on their way to you, we must await confirmation from the courier used that the parcel was lost or damaged before resending items. Placing a claim to have the value of the item refunded can take between 15 to 30 days. We require written confirmation from customer before any claim can be processed. Please wait 15 working days before contacting us - also check the tracking number to see whether they are holding the parcel for you. The best way of doing this is to send us an email detailing your order number along with your name and address. In some cases we will not be able to dispatch a replacement until this claim is complete.
